JS Pathways was founded in 2013 by author Judy Ann Lowe. We are publishers of quality books that inspire, uplift, and enrich children of all ages.

award winning children's author judy ann loweJudy is a retired Gifted and Talented teacher in the Dallas Independent School District in Dallas, Texas. Since 1966, she has acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Certificate in Gifted and Talented Education. Her hobbies are reading, working in the yard, walking, and being outside.

Judy enjoys musicals, attending The Vocal Majority performances, traveling, and watching many programs on PBS, the Hallmark Channel and the History Channel. She is on the Board of Directors of North Texas Book Festival, Inc. and is a member of the Dallas Museum of Art, Texas Retired Teachers Association, Dallas ISD TAG Educators Alumni, KERA and Texas Association of Authors.

Judy’s first book, The Little White Light, is a 2016 Book Excellence Award Winner and received Honorable Mention in the 2015 North Texas Book Festival category Children’s Books Ages 1-6. Her second book, MJ’s New Friend, received Second Place in the category Children’s Books Ages 6-12. Judy’s third book, An Almost Very Scary Day, is a 2016 Book Excellence Award Finalist. Both An Almost Very Scary Day and The Little White Light, received the 5-star Seal from Readers Favorite.
